In-Home/Outpatient Therapist

We are currently looking for…

For full-time and part-time mental health therapists. Our agency provides services to clients from all walks of life in the Salt Lake Valley. Therapists on the outpatient team provide mainly in-home services, with the option to provide in-office services as well. Hopeful Beginnings providers are able to create their own schedule and determine their case load. This job provides a great deal of flexibility and autonomy, with competitive pay.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide direct, evidence-based, clinical services including mental health assessments, individual and family psychotherapy, crisis intervention and case management services to clients and their families in home, office, & school settings.

  • Coordinate care and provide consistent updates to school administration, counselors, social workers, the treatment team, and clinical supervisor

  • Link clients to Hopeful Beginnings’ wrap-around services and other community resources as needed

  • Maintain a consistent client caseload

  • Maintain regular current progress notes and manage treatment goals

  • Provide information to community partners as appropriate and authorized

  • Team with Clinical supervisors on difficult cases as well as help maintaining client files

  • Provide other appropriate clinical services as needed

Requirements:

  • Current CSW, LCSW, ACMHC, CMHC, AMFT or LMFT license issued by Utah DOPL

  • Must have current First Aid and CPR Certification as well as an approved DHS/OL Background Check, may be completed upon hire

  • This position may require the employee to testify in court or prepare court reports

Other Items:

  • A flexible schedule with some evening availability is a plus

  • Spanish speaking is an advantage, but not required

  • Good written and verbal skills is a must

  • Supervision is provided weekly for those working on hours towards licensure
